29 Palms Marines in Iraq
This link has photos filed from Nelvin Cepeda, staff photographer for the San Diego Union-Tribune. His photo coverage goes throughout Northern Iraq (Tikrit, Mosul, Kirkuk) and into Baghdad. I have noted several Marines from 29 Palms and some specifically from 3/4: Marine Cpl. Jeff Richardson (3/4) and Marine Zachary Lux (Twentynine Palms).

These Marines all attended a wedding of a fellow Marine, after they got back from Iraq. They fought in the battle of Nasiriyah on March 23, 2003. They are with 2nd AABN A Company, 1st Platoon and were attached to CCO 1/2. They are Charlie Company, Cpl Brown, LCpl Aiello, LCpl Trivino, and Cpl Bunner. They are currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. What a great bunch of heros. I am Cpl Brown's mom, and wanted to share this. Thank you.

September 10, 2003: From Linda, Marine Mom to Seth from Tracys Landing, MD
(2nd Maintanence BN, 75220) Seth has been in Kuwait since June. He was there when Arnold Schwarzenegger made his trip over there. He told me he was in a group picture with Arnold. In searching the web for information about Camp Fox I came across a web site that has the pictures. I was thrilled to find Seth in the pictures and thought other Moms would be just as thrilled to see a picture of their Marine. The address is: http://www.arcent.army.mil/cflcc_today/2003/july/as_fox.asp Enjoy!

MWSS 371 web site has news and photos, birthdays listed, etc. There are many Marines listed here! I know some will see their son's name, for instance if they had a birthday recently, etc. It shows news all the way into August. My Marine is in Kuwait as of last week, so our family is very excited! I hope your Marine is well and doing great. Your site is so wonderful. Thanks for keeping it updated for all of us to see.
